Your mission field is where you are

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.        Matthew 28:19-20

The Church

At Crossroads we start serving in our own body.  We love and serve those in our own midst.  It is important that each person who attends is known and cared for as a person.  Whether in our nursery or the front row you are valuable to Jesus and to us.  We seek to serve through prayer, shepherding, resources, and action.

The Community

Jesus gave the Church the mission to take His good news with us wherever we go.  This mission starts with our local body here at Crossroads then moves outward into our community.

We at Crossroads love the community of Custer!  We seek to know and love our neighbors whether they are immediately next door, across town, or visiting us on vacation.  You can find us serving in local opportunities and helping those in need.

Meet our Missionaries

  • Kevin & rita geiss

Kevin and Rita Geiss live in Dayton, Ohio. Kevin began working with Athletes in Action (a division of Cru) in 2007 and currently serves as the Marketing Lead for the ministry's U.S. Operations.

The vision of Athletes in Action is to "see a day when there are Christ-followers on every team, in every sport, in every nation." Kevin supports this vision through strategies that attract athletes and engage them in:

    • finding freedom in the perspective of sport as worship to God
    • developing in all dimensions - physically, mentally, and spiritually
    • living with eternity in mind as they grow in Christ and multiply their faith into others

  • Gozie & sherri schneidermann-kone

Sherri writes: Since our marriage in 2010 we have been asking God to show us what He wanted us to do as a couple. I, Sherri, had been serving with the Mobile Member Care Team of West Africa (MMCT-WA), based in Accra, Ghana, as their office administrator and trainer since 2006. During Gozie’s three years in Ghana, he worked on learning English, taught Sunday School and began translating the Hear-See-Do Sunday School material from English into French.
